I have lived in Yadkin County for 24 years in the Forbush and Courtney communities. I have five children, Caleb- 23, Garrett- 21, Haley- 18, Grace- 16, and Faith- 13. Grace and Faith are students at Forbush High School. Haley is attending Forsyth Tech and Winston-Salem State University, pursuing a degree in Nursing. Garrett is a student at Forsyth Tech. Caleb works as a restaurant manager. I also have four dogs, Daisy, Roscoe, Shirley, and Jett, and three cats, Molly, Bella and Simba Orange Cheeto (Haley couldn't decide on a name for him!)
I earned a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in 2009, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to earn a masters degree in Special Education from Appalachian State in 2013, with concentrations in Learning Disabilities and Intellectual Disabilities, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
